Hi! I'm Dionne

When I started singing in choirs, in the early 1990's, I was a baby Christian, fresh out of the Baptism pool. I joined a world where being able to sing really good was highly valued. The choir at my church was famous for singing, so you can imagine the pressure to sing perfectly, especially if you were a lead singer.

There was only one problem with this - this kind of pressure only served to show up the flaws of everyone who couldn't sing perfectly... including me. I'd sit in practice knowing I was doing something wrong but not knowing how to do it better. No point asking the person next to me because they were in the same boat!

These early experiences were the start of my journey to becoming a vocal coach.

Jump to 2008 where I've moved out of London and dabbling in coaching With my kids at school, I set up a website; sosvocaltrainingbeds.
I wasn't really expecting anything much. The page didn't even mention I was a Christian. Yet, miraculously, people started to find me.

In 2010, I looked at all the students I had worked with over the past 2 years and realised that most of them were from church, many of which were travelling from London to see me. I suddenly realised tht there was a real need for professional vocal coaching for singers in the church community.

Now 18 years later, I have been blessed to have worked with teams across England, train choirs in Europe and work with students from across the world, including Tonga, the U.S, Australia, Thailand and Canada.
